All consultations, whether in-person or via telehealth, are conducted securely and comply with Australian Cyber Security Centre requirements. Your personal and medical information is protected, and all services are provided by AHPRA-registered health professionals.
Payments are processed securely via credit card through our trusted payment gateway. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. For eligible services, bulk billing is available (see Bulk Billing section below).
All prescriptions, medical certificates, and referrals issued by Dr Ebad Medical Centre include complete patient details as required by Australian healthcare regulations. For e-scripts, a valid Medicare or Individual Healthcare Identifier (IHI) number is required.

Telehealth Consultations

What do I need for a telehealth consultation?
Telehealth consultations can be conducted using a mobile phone, tablet, or desktop computer with a stable internet connection and a front-facing camera. We recommend using Chrome or Safari browsers for the best experience.

Yes, you can join a telehealth consultation from any quiet and private location. Use your computer or phone to access the consultation via Chrome or Firefox on a Windows PC or Mac.

Telehealth consultations with a doctor who is not your regular GP are not Medicare rebatable. However, eligible patients with a valid Medicare card can access bulk-billed services for specific consultations (see Bulk Billing section below).
You can use our consultation services without a Medicare number. However, to receive an e-script, you must provide a valid Medicare or Individual Healthcare Identifier (IHI) number, as required by Australian Government telehealth regulations. Obtain an IHI at https://www.servicesaustralia.gov.au/individual-healthcare-identifiers.

Prescriptions, referrals, and medical certificates are typically issued within 3 hours and sent to your nominated email or mobile as an e-script. If you don’t receive them within this time, please contact our support team.
Yes, medical certificates can be issued following a consultation, at the discretion of the consulting doctor. Certificates are sent to your nominated email within 3 hours. Certificates cannot be backdated or include specific patient conditions due to privacy regulations.

What is bulk billing?
Bulk billing is a payment option under Australia’s Medicare system where the healthcare provider bills Medicare directly, so eligible patients pay nothing out of pocket. Dr Ebad Medical Centre offers bulk billing for select services.

For eligible Medicare card holders, we offer 100% bulk-billed telehealth services, including:

Online Prescriptions: Request or renew prescriptions for listed medications via a short telehealth consultation, available 24/7.

Mental Health Care Plans: Access a mental health treatment plan through a 20-minute telehealth consultation.

Bulk billing is automatically applied if you’re eligible. Simply provide your Medicare details during booking, and we’ll process the claim on your behalf.

Most Australians with a valid Medicare card are eligible for bulk-billed services, subject to clinical criteria. Our team will confirm your eligibility during the booking process.
